MArcy, I am trying to get that pillowcase out in the mail to you

True, I do like making stuff for others, but what I really need is a talent for organization.. but part of my charm is thriving on chaos. My living rm looks like the  fabric dept' of walmarts after a mad rush. They have a new store by me called Hobby Lobby, and they sell my favorite thing.. fabric.but I don't need any more of that. What I need is to get my butt in gear and get caught up on all my UFO's talk later. everyone have a great day.

MIL's surgery went well. She has a cast on now and it will come off here in 2 weeks.

It is just a weekend trip. We leave tomorrow nite at 1130pm and will return Sunday morning. We leave up there around 9pm Saturday. We will be some tired little girls. We are getting to do what we want and then we have a tea party at the American Girl Doll Store at 4pm Saturday. That is why I am wondering about a map or something so I can plan. I like to know where I am going and what I am doing. It is funny Mia wants to go to the Today show, I doubt we will do that because it is only on for an hour on Saturdays and we won't get there until 8am.

Mia is feeling better. She went back to school yesterday. Thanks for asking.

I got a B+ on my abstract for English. I was a little surprised because I didn't think it was that good. Just anxious to see what I got on my test from last Thursday as well from A&P. Not looking forward to that one. Oh well it is what it is.

I don't have any talents at all. Not crafty, I would like to be but don't have the time or money to do it. I just like to buy other peoples crafts they make,LOL.

Nita, those quilts sound so wonderful. I am sure the Marine and Sailor will love them.

Weather was crazy yesterday and today it is cold. I am with you Blondie no snow for Easter. It is at the end of April this year so hopefully it won't snow. It is actually the day after my hubby's birthday this year. The year we met it was on his birthday. I am looking forward to that weekend because it is Easter and my cousin from NY is coming down and bringing his new girlfriend for me to meet. So looking forward to that. Maybe we will have a fire and my aunt and uncle up on that Saturday for Dave's birthday as well. Will have to be planning.

Well Mia and I go to NYC tomorrow nite. She is so excited and I am too. I have been trying to find a good map of it online but can't, can anyone help out on that one?

Well gotta go and get some studying done and finish my paper for English, just one more paragraph to write about. Talk to ya later or tonight. I will let you guys know what I got on my test.

There's too many in that group, I like our group,  close and  chummy,  I was just feeling a little down , and with all those people in that group and the chaos over there. I guess I am just spoiled.  I will try staying on the first page and in the moment.

you are probably right about the silky fabric, no I think chopsticks would be more  fun to have.
