Andrea...Haven't heard of this . I am sorry I can't help. Hope all turns out well and they figure out what it is. Praying for you.
ConcernedDad... Ours is supposed to be back in the states for the remainder of his tour when he returns. No mention of returning to Bahrain after he returns to the States.
I've got a question. So, my son will be headed back to San Diego soon (and then home for a while). After, do they send them right back to Bahrain, or do they stay State-side for a while?
I just joined Navy for moms and have a question I hope can be answered here. My daughter went to Behrain the end of Feb. Last week she woke up with several bumps on her face. They turned into horrible scabs on her face that hurt. She said she did not pick or scratch them. She is now in Italy for two weeks. The doctor on base there does not know what it is. Has anyone heard of this kind of thing?
Nitasmom it can take awhile to get through customs, especially if the plane was full or maybe she's getting some food and getting settled before calling.
It will fly by and before you know it, she will be walking through the door. Ready Chriscwick to do the Boogie Woogie. Will be doing it again in June as well. Just got word ours will be home for another 25 days before his reassignment. Looks like he will be on a ship for a while.
Congrats Nitasmom. So happy for you.
MotherAlways...Sorry to hear that. I know your heart is breaking, but we have to be happy for them as they make their decisions. I think that is the toughest job a mother will ever have.Ours is looking to change over to another branch as soon as his deployment is up. He still wants to do Spec Ops and he can in another branch. His leg injury will not interfere. So hard to accept their decisions sometimes, but can only pray that God knows the path for them and will protect them.
Awww, I know the feeling. There's nothing like a homecoming! Hoping those 1st 10 days that's she's in VA will speed by and you'll be hugging your baby before you know it!
SmithZooCrew if you have a facebook account and want info and support you should check out these links. There are some great Moms and I love these ladys
