Thank you moms. I had my son at a young age so in my social circle I don't have that GF that would understand what I am feeling or going thru. I am so glad to have this group for support. THANKS!
My son has been there since Mid-November. He seems to really like it. This was his first duty out of Basic. He has done awesome with adapting. I video chat with him on face book on sundays and we leave messages on there as well. My son has made great friends as well. Most US based Cell Phone companies do not have cell towers to support the phones we get here. Mine got a cheap throw away and uses a calling card to call. I would like to go see him sometime in the next 2 years that is there. Its a once in a life time to see the world. That is how we look at it.
He leaves tomorrow to San Diego and then to Bahrain. He said he won't be able to reach me or call home for while. He also is cancelling his phone service. I don't understand why but there is always facebook. Feeling extremely sad.
Really??? I am sorry that happened. That is nuts- it is not lot a lot of spouses came over. You have to get Dependent Entry Approval- which gave us a HUGE headache because it did not come in time and postponed my flight and all our goods were put into storage- then moved by yet another shipping company when finally approved. I have a few spouses from diff ships coming over for a spa day today. I will ask them if they heard of this and get back to you...
Yes Rvane, maybe I can help?
