For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

@ Susan My son is also on the C-ville. If you have Facebook like their FB page, also contact the ombudsman, as she has always been so helpful. The have not had a lot of electronic connection lately. No concerns but just for safety reasons. We did receive a call this morning and our son sounded terrific. We hadn't had a call in quite awhile. Remember to always have your phone by the bed and your cellphone on you. You never know when they will call, but what a joy when they do. Email me and I will send a message via my son. I'm sure he's fine but we Moms worry.

Thanks Anne, right now we are still waiting to see if only one of us gets to go, or both, our son was not sure when we last spoke, and of course not alot can be said either. So for now we will just wait. If only one gets to go, maybe the other will head
to San Diego for the home coming. We are in Fl, any reasonable places to stay there in San Diego Land?

Joining our son for the TC aboard the USS Chancellorsville, but have a question. We plan on arriving a few days before their arrival, but as far as boarding the ship, is that done right away, do we check in with someone, how does the beginning start out?

My son will be joining the USS Chancellorville shortly for his first deployment. He's in SD in TPU. So many emotions for us. Spent yesterday in Annapolis, just to be around the Navy community. It truly helped. Bless all of our sailors and keep them safe.

Ladies, tried to get into the Family/Friends website for the CVP76, but was denied
due to "could not locate sponsor" "not in system",, "must have an account in the ADP". How do I get this taken care of?

My nephew is on the Chancellorsville. This is his first deployment... a lot of emotions. I found the facebook page and asked to be put on the email tree. Thanks for the info. It's nice to know others who have love ones on this ship.
