I know what you mean. They've still not found Haley either. That story was a bit odd but not nearly as publicized as Kaley's case.

Good news though, I see on WFTV.com they are reporting that 2 month old baby as found. The lady that took her turned herself in once she heard there was an amber alert.

Diane, thanks for sharing the pix with us.

Everytime...I hear of a child missing...etc...it turns my stomach....I truly don't know what I would do if one of my children were missing..
God Bless the Family
And God punish the scumbags that take the children, enough said!!!!

I saw that Amber alert on the news. I cannot believe, however, that a mom would let a complete stranger hold her baby. No how no way when our 3 kids were babies would that have ever happened. Like my husband said, the news said the baby was transferred-another way (we think) of saying the mom let the stranger hold her baby. Inexcusable. I hope that baby is put back into it's families hands soon and that the mom learned a very hard learned lesson.

Debi, I got lots of those emails from Shawn...All you can do is to keep encouraging him..I bet he is not the only one on that ship that is stressed right now. One thing I have learned through this deployment is..The ship -all the crew-seems to get stressed and tense all at the same time..."MORAL"...I do know that command jumps in alot and trys to lighten the mood aboard the ship, the best way they know how...Whether it be "Steel Beach Party" Getting the crew to port...A special meal....get a mail delivered.
Just to let you know...Justin will be fine..There were a few times where I thought Shawn was gonna pop..but they have great shipmates that truly look after them!

Do you have an address where we could maybe send some cards showing support or maybe even a card to make him smile and laugh...Its would be MY pleasure to send one out ♥

We sent 6 boxes to the Adopt a Sailor, did I say 10 if I did I am sorry!
Wow some new moms , don't ya all love it ♥

Hi Susan,
As for your question, lets see the Navy giving choices.....
My personal option is , Toss of the Hat....
The go where they are needed.
I have a friend who son was "top Grad" out of A school and did NOT get his choice. So....Take it from there. Please tell Zachary not to worry too much about where is going to be stationed...Tell him concentrate on doing GREAT in A school and the rest will all fall together....

Armando...Big Congrats to you...Enjoy it...♥

That's wonderful, Ingrid. That's where Justin wants to go also. We've been told by many that Americans (especially military) are treated very well. Just make sure to let him know about the geisha story so he doesn't repeat that horror. When does he go? Will you get time with him before he leaves? How long will he be there?
