Kathey - We stayed at the Ramada Inn on Green Bay Rd. We needed a hotel that would allow 5 in a room. The PIR rate was $89/night with pool, hot tub, sauna, and hot breakfast buffet from 6:30-9:30 and 6:00 AM on PIR. When we arrived early our room was already ready and for some reason they had upgraded it to a 3 queen room. It was just 3 1/2 miles S past the NEX and left to the base.
Alli - when my daughter signed up for DC, she was told it was all ship duty. Hopefully someone else in this group can answer the question of being out to see for long periods of time better - especially those that have had their son/daughter in the Navy longer. Katie is just starting at 'A' school.

Kathey - Katie PIRd with Stephen and she said she should graduate from A school March 5th. She could be sent to any ship. I seem to remember one Mom posting that their son was set to go to Guam, but then at the last minute his orders were switched to San Diego.

We had a nice Thansgiving since Katie called 4 times throughout the day. One of her shipmates (Jen) aunt's adopted Katie along with Jen for the day. They had a nice time with the family. Katie called on Saturday as well to say that her Div 903 won the Captain's Cup. Enjoy your time with Nick.

Have any idea what the chances are of those going to A school after PIR 12/5 of being home around Christmas?

Anyone have any idea how many move from BC to 'A' school for DC? Just curious how many might be going thru together or the ratio of men/women. I can't seem to find many Mom's of daughters who are going into DC. Katie's PIR is 12/5.

My daughter Katie is at BC with a PIR of 12/5. Ship 06/Div 903. Anyone else in the same?
