Yes, Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I know I have an awful lot to be thankful for, Christian's promotion, Jordan's acceptance to the college he wanted. The Lord has blessed Cal and me very very much. Take a moment tomorrow around the table to express what you're thankful for. When the prayer is offered, include a blessing for our sailors who can't be with family. God bless our sailors, God bless all Navy families.

Thank you so much gals! His frocking is tomorrow, and I think this is pretty cool...his shipmate also is advancing to 2nd class and is giving Christian his third class crows. Kind of neat that he thinks of their friendship enough to pass down the crows. Anyway, I hope they post pictures on the FB page, and if they do I will bring it forward. Yes we have lots of blessings to be thankful for this year! My boys are being successful in their lives, and I have wonderful friends/extended family via N4M! Oh, and another bit of great news today...Jordan has been accepted to Johnson & Wales University in Providence RI, he wants to be a chef in his life and the culinary arts at J&H is state of the art! We visited the campus this past summer when we vacationed in Boston and are so impressed with their program! Plus he already has scholarship money for being in FFA....God is blessing my family all the time! So thankful!

Happy Thanksgiving my scout mommas!!!! May we be thankful for what we have and cherrish those who we share lives with. Received WONDERFUL news today from Christian. He is no longer OSSN, but OS3, yes he received word from his captain today that his name is on the promotions list! I can't wait to talk to him and see him when he comes home for Christmas! For those who are traveling, safe travels, may the great spirit guide you to where you are going and back home. Lots of love to you and your families. God bless our sailors, God bless all Navy families

Becky! WOW, that is awesome! Excellent show of scout spirit! A job well done! Can't wait to see the pictures. I think it's awesome for the boys to see what they accomplish, not just now, but years later when they come back home and still see that what they have done today will be there tomorrow and for many days to come! They should be very proud of themselves and can brag about "I helped with that". It's very important for them because today's society doesn't see teens as great people, and scouts, thank goodness, gives them the opportunity to crush the stereo type so I tell my scouts, you should be proud of what you've helped in. And it's ok to let people know that you help out in the community.
Liz, I know Ben and his team mates were heart broke, but they went much longer then was expected. Tell Ben congratulations to him and his team for me! They worked hard and their hard work paid off, it's always hard to be on the losing end, but they still have the right to hold their heads high and be proud.
Jordan just wrapped up the Physical Fitness merit badge, so one down 2 Eagle required to go! He's learned a valuable lesson about keeping logs, don't procrastinate....so he's working on his Eagle project logs. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I hope that if your sailor isn't home for the holidays, they are with good shipmates or lucky enough to be invited into someones home and be adopted for the day. Last year Christian spent Thanksgiving in GL and a cab driver that also was a veteran adopted him and 3 shipmates for the Thanksgiving meal, this year his shipmate lives close to San Diego and has invited him into his families home for the day, I'm very glad that he won't be alone, and in 26 days he'll be home for 14 days. God bless our sailors, God bless our Navy families.

Wonderful job on the Eagle project. It is a gret forever project.
Ben is in play off round 3! and folks say we aren't gonna pull this one out. Please keep his team in thought as we take on Maple Heights who al expect to win. (but they didn't expect us to get out of game 1 or 2. Here's Hoping! Ian has been home to see game 2 adn will be here for game 3. YEAH! It's nice to have him home and I know his brothers are enjoying his company. Wrestling and tombling and "loving" LOL is the same as it was before Ian went to Boot Camp. I ahve to say Halligan is kinda annoyed at Ian. Ian took his bed back. Poor dog has to sleep on the couch now. Everyone enjoy your day. and GO BULLDOGS!

Thank you so much ladies! I appreciate the support from each and everyone of you! To think that my boys can do the things they do, makes me so proud I just can't find words for it sometimes. Scouting has been a blessing in our lives and I hope my boys will continue the tradition when they have their own families, and I"m sure they will. Christian is SO excited about moving to WA when his ship moves to new home port....he can't wait for the camping there.
