FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Talk to my son this weekend and he said they are really pushing them through his C school, so now instead of being done in Oct he will be done in Sep and plans on being home on the 16 in time to spend some time at the Pumkin Fest.

I'd love for money to be put in my account....I didn't ask for access for my oldest sons account, but now my younger one ....yes I'm on that...lol

Sopke with my son on the phone today. He's been on T-track since mid June but will be classing up for Power School on Thursday. They've been attending briefings & said he may be on Grad Hold for 8 months when he graduates ffrom Power School next Feb. Hoping to take some college courses at that time.

Vicky, Your sailor will have the opportunity to order pictures a week or 2 prior to PIR. My son didn't opted not to pre-order because he didn't know if I wanted frames, etc. We ordered & paid for the picture package immediately after PIR. You can still get the Keel Book free w/package A even if you order graduation day...
