Ok while making my rounds today, I stopped in a recruiters office and was about to give him my "speal" about Molly's and Voting...he stopped me in mid sentence and proceeded to tell me about this recruit that is in BC and need some mail....This young man is from Africa has over-come all the obstacles getting to the USA and has worked his way to the Navy. His family is in Africa so he is not getting mail. This young man is very special to this recruiter and he was so excited at the thought of a mom group coming in and to get him mail......he about jumped out of his seat didn't he Ruth...

If you are interested in sending this young sailor a letter please PM me I'll get your the address

Lauren--I invited a new independent sales vendor to my house, and we hosted a sales and information meeting.  Gave out Molly's Adopt a Sailor information.  I will be doing the same at my garage sale this weekend--which I have to end early to do the meeting at Scott Air Force Base.

I've been visiting all our military recruiting offices for a long time.  However, last week I hit each and every one of them.  By fluke, my vacation dates got changed, and the Navy recruiter invited me to the air force base Saturday to speak with families and recruits.  Susan, Mom of Niko, sent me a power point presentation.  I've done public speaking for years, and when the PASSION is Molly's Adopt a Sailor and all our deployed kiddos, it just happened.  I want our Combat Hospital to win the Pepsi grant!  I want our kids to have the best when they are away from home. So, just keep on talking up the mission.

DODIE--YEAH!  Have a good visit.
