For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hi Ladies, wanted to let you know, they can take their Cell phones so make sure they keep it charged. If not then they will not be able to call the I'm here call. there are no phones available for them to use. make sure they have a small address book I found a very small one that fits in the wallet if not on note paper. addresses and phone numbers. And stick a note inside, "I Love You and So Proud" "We will miss you, Stay Focusand We Love You" something encouraging and maybe a scripture. Believe me when they see it in their Wallet they will cling to it because they will be missing you a great deal. stick a picture of the Family, Pet. They Long for something to cling to while in BC so maybe copy some pics and stick it in wallet. Wishing your Loved One the Very best in this New Journey.

That is too Cute Sailormom96. And he will Love it! My Son is Stationed in San Diego (Coronado) here is a site to make sure you have all in order. and a book of stamps and calling card so he doesnt have to worry about buying one. Make sure it is activated already. And please I want you to know that when the Box comes you have to be there to receive (sign for it) , so if you can make arrangements prior with Fed ex to leave near doorstep that would be a suggestion, or they leave a slip to pick up.

Question my son told me he will be staying in Great Lakes affter BC for a before A school training his rate is STG how long will we have with him after graduation ? And how lond will he be there before going to San Diego

also your second question- he will be at TSC for about 6 weeks before he goes to SD.
the good news is he should get roughly a 10 leave after GL before he goes to SD, but you need to verify with him about that

My son left today. I am patiently waiting for his "I have arrived " phone call. I'm a hot mess of emotions. This is my first ever experience with the military.
