OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. There are now tickets issued, and there are no longer parking passes for PIR.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

WaterLily - we had so much fun. We wandered up to Crisp Point Lighthouse as well. PSA do NOT attempt the drive if you don’t have an SUV or Truck! The 6.2 mile road to the lighthouse is a seasonal road that is quite rough - but fun!

B'sNukeMom, I LOVE the pumpkin photo!  The heart/paw print design is fabulous!  Happy Wednesday to you, and thanks for giving me the smile.

B'sNukeMom, Uncle John's Cider Mill is a big destination this time of year!  My husband's family used to go there ever year for their pumpkins & apples/cider.  We are blessed with so many orchards in MI and this past weekend was definitely the weekend to go.  Fall in MI is so pretty (when it's not raining & nasty cold, haha).
