Hello ladies! I just wanted to introduce myself. I am new to the NAVY family and also live in Michigan. My husband left for BC on August 2nd and has PIR on Oct. 1st. I cant wait!!! So far this journey has been extremely rough on me but I am getting by. Ive found my new slogan lol, When you feel like giving up remember why you've held on for so long in the first place. I love my husband and support him 100% in this decision that he has made. We have 3 daughters and son ready to make his way anytime in the next 5 weeks. I am looking forward to getting to know a lot of you.

Sorry to bore you lol

Sorry that we won't be making this Saturday. Our summer has been filled with 22 graduation parties including Diego's, also moved three weeks before his party, one wedding shower, three weddings, one class renuion, and still have a life. It has been hard to get anything done on the weekends. I can say I am looking forward to having our weekends back next month. Then again, we let our son go to BC on the 21st. His buddy leaves next Tuesday, the 18th so they will be about five weeks apart. I am hoping they will at least see each other some how. Have an awesome time on Saturday, hoping to make it another time.

I agree Jaz, most times I hate traveling in winter too. It's just summer my husband and I both work two jobs, then when we are off there is lots to do. Then we only have one in the winter and wonder what to do with all our spare time. Now with one son in the Navy and one headed to Kalamazoo to KVCC we'll really wander what do to, lol.

btmom, what? winter? lol. I hate traveling in the winter. I know, what a joke since I live in Michigan. I look forward to this weekend and the years to follow no matter when it is or where it is. I also look forward to meeting you in the future.
