Thank you Ruth, you don't know how timely those words were for me. It was exactly the message I needed.
On another note, and I apologize in advance if it is wrong of me to ask, but everyone please keep my son in your thoughts tomorrow as he takes the E-6 advancement exam.

Ruth, very well said. After reading all of the comments and thinking about Pfc Hario, I too am crying again. I know it's ok to cry, but not allow myself to sink into the negative thoughts that can sometimes go with the tears. I worry just like you all do for my son & son-in-law, but know that they are in God's hands and He is better at taking care of them than I could ever be.

So glad to know the Patriot Guard Riders will be there at the funeral to honor Pfc. Hario.

God Bless us all!

Ruth you said it very well, and yes we all worry, but with God's help and guidance we will all get through it. Actually it helps me to look at it as with all the violence on the streets and at some of the universities, I think they maybe in better hands in the Navy, just look at the crime rate in the detroit area.
ON A BRIGHTER NOTE> GOOD NEWS TO SHARE:;::: Robert got engaged last week. I think they are too young, but so did my folks when I got married and they are not setting a daste till late next year or early 2011. She is a very nice nice girl and we love love her. They have been friends since middle school and it just grew. so now I will have another daughter. so exciting.

Dawn thank you for the info. I read the article too and am heartbroken for this family. I too am sending out a card to the family. They are all in my thoughts and prayers. Really makes you realize just how precious our time with our children is.

Anyone know a Mom of a SeaBee from the Ann Arbor area? I have seen a car at the Pregnancy Counseling Center, but never seen anyone to talk to. Think she may be a volunteer at the center.
