Their offer on the new build was accepted!  This one should go through as there shouldn't be any issues with the inspection (only have to do termite since it's a brand new home) and the appraisal.  Fingers crossed the VA gets everything done in a timely manner for them - they are both so excited ;-D

Welcome to the group Spencers mom!

I don't live in MI but my veteran son and daughter in love (also a veteran) live in MI.  They are currently house hunting in Burton and are putting in an offer on a new build home today!  Fingers crossed they get this one as it's been a bit of a challenge the last few weeks as they've been house hunting.  We were just there in July for their wedding.  If you go back a few pages you can see some pictures I posted.

Feel free to jump in with any questions you may have!

Happy Saturday!

Hi all - Happy Tuesday!

Well they passed on the house they were looking at.  There was an issue with "vermiculite" in the attic and the sellers didn't want to give any concessions on it so they chose to walk away from that house as it could be quite costly to eradicate it.  But they already found another that they are going to look at tomorrow.....so fingers crossed this one works out!
