I'm so excited, my son will be back in the U.S. soon!
But first... tomorrow is the E-6 exam. Oh...and his squadron won the Battle "E" Award for 2009.

Ruth, I pray that you feel better soon and get over this pneumonia. May it leave your body and you feel yourself soon. Hoping things work out for the conference and meeting with others.

Hi Uli...my name is Andrea. It's great to meet you. I haven't heard anything from BC yet. Have you? Another mom in the division received a phone call today because her son needed something faxed over to him. My phone hasn't left my side but no news yet. So where are you located in Michigan?

Hi all, Glad to hear everyone is safe and sound. Uli, can't make Jackson but hope to see you all soon. so glad your family is well. Ruth, where is the conference in Troy? I work in Sterling Heights and would love to get together when you're over this way. Kathy same, anywhere in Macomb is within driving for me. Actually anywhere in the tri county area.
Let's all pray for our sailors in HI and on the west coast. According to the sub mom's group the bases are taking no chances and evacuating all that are on lower ground and sending the ships and boats out to sea.
Let me know where and when all. ... love to everyone

Hello. Glad to be part of this group. My son, Jon, left Feb 11th for BC and will be graduating 4/9. He is in Ship 13, Div 149. Anyone else out there from Michigan that has a son/daughter in this ship or division?

Ruth, I would to meet up with you when you're in Troy for the conference! Check the schedule for the conference and let me know what works best for you. Either day is good for me. 'm sorry I won't be able to make the Jackson meet but I'd love to meet with some of the ladies in the Macomb/Oakland Co area! Just name the time and place!

I am near Macomg County, actually grew up there. We are always down that way. We live in Lapeer at the moment,, but spend lots of time in New Baltimore. We lived in Sterling Heights, by Lakeside Mall for many years. We are always driving somewhere. Can't make the Jackson meeting this time.

I won't be able to make the March meet & greet, but looking forward to attending sometime in June or July. Can't wait to get back to Jackson this spring or summer.

I did stop sending to her BC address closer to PIR, but I'm not sure that I really would have had to. My Mom wrote Katie about a month after PIR and didn't update her address...it still found her.

Caseysmom, I drove Special Ed kids for many many years...always a challenge and everyday was alittle different! Loved it! I only switched to reg ed because Troy School District privatized transportation, now First Student, and I couldn't get the hours I wanted with a Spec Ed run.
Kathy B, I drive in Sterling Hts everyday going north on Dequindre!
Ruth, I'm sure we could share some good bus stories!
