It is outside ... longer ... and we are strictly limited to 4 tickets.  It's taking place on the original PIR field, on the A-School Base.

I just read that Friday's PIR is going to be outside -- that should be cool (but weather will be hot).

Hello All!
My son is scheduled for PIR at RTC this Friday. He will be part of the 100th Anniversary Celebration! It's so good to have made it through Basic. Thanks for all the support; a very special thank you goes out to tls.

Congrats! Always good to have someone around that can cook!! Yummy
My mom always said that it is much different to cook for a family of 4 than it is for a family of 400.  I have a hard enough time cooking for 2.  LOL  Glad to hear from you.

Hi everyone it has been a long time since I was last on here.  My son was in Florida but did not pass exam for IT.  So he chose Cullinary Specialist.  He loves it.  Cooking up a storm.  He is currently in Fort Lee, Va.  After July will head to Sandiego.  It is so good to know he is happy and excited about his new adventure.  Welcome Mom to 2 sailors.

Good for him, NavyMomx3.  It's so wonderful.  We (my husband and I) just got back (and just missed the tornado action) from our vacation.  We went to Seattle to visit our son who works there.  We saw the area in a week -- Seattle, Victoria, Canada, Mount St Helens, Mount Rainer and Bremerton, where we saw the ship our sailor will be on.  As much as I really missed the luncheon with you, we had a wonderful time.  Wonderful pictures.  So sorry to miss your sailor, tls.

I'm sorry I missed this last luncheon. I love the photos!   I travel a lot with my part time job.  But guess what???!!!  My son just qualified for ELT, Engineering Labratory Technician in the Nuke program.  He just qualified today.  Yeah for Walter!  He'll be home in July for a three weeks or so.  Then he'll be stationed in Hawaii and going on a sub.  He informed me he'll be driving his car to a location in NY and having the Navy ship his car to Hawaii.. He is excited!!
