To all the Navy Moms out there....
Happy Mother's Day to each and everyone of you!
I hope that you all will or have talked to your special hero on Mother's Day. If they are far away from home on Sunday, know that they are thinking of you. There is that time zone difference, so you may hear from them on Sunday or zero-dark on Monday morning. Whatever the case, any time will be that special time when the miles are shorten by, "I Love You Mom...Happy Mothers Day".
Hope you all enjoyed your Birthday party in April. I am on, to see what's doing for May - don't see anything yet, although, I won't make that one either
I am going on a cruise to Europe. Anyway, I hope to see you all in June. Don't party too much in the meantime.
Midwestnavymom, I hope that your birthday was a wonderful day. I'm glad you got a phone call. What a nice gift :)
Did you all enjoy our summer? Guess we're going to Fall...lol
midwestnavymom: my son has been in japan since february. he's doing ok. I sent you a friend request--it would be nice to connect with someone close that has a son in the same place!
Happy birthday
Thanks JJ! Our Sailor called from Japan :-) I wasn't home, but now it's saved on the answering machine along with the "I'm a Sailor" call from a few years ago!! :-)
Happy Birthday MidwestNavyMom!
I'm so glad you had a great visit with him. Two years will be gone before you know it. (Have to stay positive!!)
Blessings!
Our son is on the plane to Japan and will be there two years. Hard to see him go, but he's excited so that helps. We feel so blessed to have gone to San Diego to see him and having had him home the last three weeks. Now I get to understand more how those of you who have Sailors overseas and on ships feel. I think we've been spoiled having him in San Diego....could always text, call, skype, etc. But like a retired teacher, retired Navy friend said, "Think of the places he will go and see. Most people only read about it, he will experience it." Well said....
I'm not familiar with that area or the locations at all. Where are they in relation to the Chili's we met at the first time I came? Was that in Plymouth? Linda had you set that up?
