Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Hola Dama Mafroda, bienvenida! Esta un grupo para la Division 287 con la graduacion de PIR Julio 20, 2018 pero todavia no esta activo. En cuento este listo se puede unir para compartir informacion y experiencias con los otros papas de los companeros de su hija/o. Tambien se puede communicar con lemonelephant para mas informacion, detalles, y grupos que se puede unir. Beinvenida de nuevo y aqui estaremos al igual que otras mamas y papas si tiene alguna pregunta :)
Maristar2, muchas gracias! Cómo en cuanto tiempo activarán el grupo? Sí, recibí carta de mi hijo el sábado y esa es la fecha del PIR.

Hola, parece que esta semana ya activaron el grupo para que pueda unirse. Me da mucho gusto que ya recibio la carta de su hijo ahora ya pueden escribirse! Les gusta recibir cartas, dibujos y fotos pequenas. Le aconsejo que le escriba y le diga a la familia que tambien le escriban cosas de apoyo y animo porque lo van a necesitar. Estan trabajando muy duro para lograr sus metas, acustubrarse a nuevas cosas de la Navy y trabajar como equipo. Ya puede empezar hacer sus planes para ir a PIR! Le va encantar ver a su hijo muy guapo en su traje es un momento de orgullo y inolvidable para todos!
