For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Nolla, Felicidades por tu sailor, me da gusto que ya estes pasando por este monento tan especial para nuestros hijos y tan lleno de orgullo para nosotros los padres.
Beronica, yo he hecho 2 roadtrips para tu estado, desde aqui San Luis Az que es la frontera con Mexico hasta Dayton Wa, que lugar tan hermoso donde tu vives, de nuestra/tu casa a Dayton manejamos pasando por Nevada, Idaho, Oregon y Washington, de regreso a casa fue por Oregon y California...que lugares tan bellos, siempre he dicho que si un dia nos movemos de este mi desierto sera para irme a Oregon.
Leach que bueno que ya estas llenando el cochinito para irte a Espana, por cuanto tiempo se quedara tu hija alla? Mi hijo es a donde quiere que lo manden, solo que como a el le toco base en tierra cree que no va a ser posible que lo manden fuera de aqui. Aun no se cuando sea mi visita a Norfolk, les di 3 fechas a los organizadores y segun iban a revisar hoteles pero aun no me dicen cuando......y que crees!!?? Yo no vi a Menudooo! Ouchhh, supe porque estaban poniendo en facebook, y como estan alla con la nieve? Estoy en la pgina del TSC-Great Lakes y tambien de Sarge y ponen fotos o avisos de que esta o estara fuerte la nevada, aparte de las noticias en TV...Dios los cuide a todos! Benmom, que bonito lo de tu hijo...y si yo tambien fui a ver American Sniper, muy buena pelicula, y al verla mas orgullosa estoy de mi sailor, que a sus 19 annos ya se nos independizo y se esta haciendo su futuro lejos del nido.
Proudmom al igual que tu yo nunca imagine que mis hijos se inclinarian por lo militar, no lo hablaron antes hasta ya q se iban a graduar de High School, mi hija creo q en 2 semanas ira a MEPS con los del Air Force...
Pues mi hijo muy contento porque ayer le llego su caja con tortillas de maiz, de harina, coyotas, chilorio, salsas, dulces mexicanos y papitas mexicanas...me hizo facetime preparandose su chilorio y me ensenno su refrigerador porque compro chorizo y huevos para comer con tortillas de harina de Sonora..Pues aqui en mi desierto ya estamos de nuevo en los 80•F, ya no se si guardar lo de invierno pero haber que tanto nos dura lo fresco este invierno.

Las platico vamos a empesar con los tramites de adopcion, parece que ahora si vamos a poder hacerlo.
Mi hijo ya termino la escuela el martes, pero todavia no le Dan base.
