Moms/Dads/Families with Nukes in Ballston Spa, NY

Wanted to start a group for moms, dads, and other family members that have Nukes currently attending Prototype in Ballston Spa, NY.

Thought I would start a group for the families of sailors stationed in NY for Prototype. It will be nice to chat about what is going on with our sailors whether it is good or bad so that we can support each other. I have connected with many people on this site but it is always nice to meet others that are going through the same things together. Also if you have had a sailor in NY for an extended amount of time then you can help the new ones just coming in on what to expect.

Hi all - Happy Monday!

Yes dots, this is a rather quiet group.  My son did proto here and it was even pretty quiet back then....the nuke mom's page is more active.  Is there a specific question you have regarding Ballston Spa?  I'll try to help if I can :)

@dots, you're right, there's not been much activity here. Our son graduated a year and a half ago, so I'm not active, but still a member here. I'll post a note in the main Nuke Mom's group reminding everyone that this group exists.

Does anyone know if there's a FB group for BS? Asking for another mom...

boconavymom, congrats to you and your son! My son is also graduating on Jan 29th. Unfortunately, we live in Washington State and will not be able to attend. There is a mom on the NukeMom page that says she is going. I've asked her to take pictures of my son for me.

Excited to see my son on Jan 13th for his supposed grad date of Jan 15th.
But I now bought a ticket to see him Jan 28th thru the 31st for his new grad date of Jan 29th too. Hope it doesn't change again! :)
Any parents attending?

Welcome Donna!  This website isn't as busy as Nuke Moms but it was very helpful during my son's stay in BS.
