OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. There are now tickets issued, and there are no longer parking passes for PIR.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Morning Moms!

just popping in to share some great news! My daughter graduated CS school Friday and received the accelerated officer  award and is being promoted to a Petty Officer 3rd Class. She went in to Bootcamp as an E1 and this will put her up to an E4. I’m so proud of my girl’s determination and drive to do this!

Congratulations Blondie!!  I agree, Joseph Jude is a cool name!!

Congratulations to your daughter Karilyn1962.  My son was deployed to Japan for awhile and he enjoyed his time there!!

Here is what my daughter has been up to!!  She had an opportunity to have a free tandem jump with an Air Force Parachute team.  This was after her and her team finished teaching a Aviation Safety Course for the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.

Gotta love new life. I smell the sweet scent of a newborn. Welcome Joseph Jude. You have a fan club.
