Mom of Deanna, they still seem to have plenty to do. My daughter is a Nuke and her group stays busy with reactor maintenance. Not sure what the CS group is doing but I'm sure there are a million things that we couldn't dream of!

JayDee659 That’s what my daughter said, they will be in dry dock for another two years. What do they do during that time?

Mom of Deanna that's great!  It's an overwhelmingly large ship but you find your way around pretty fast.  As a momma you're in luck as they're in the ship yard getting regularly scheduled maintenance so there's not a deployment in your near future.

JayDee659 My daughter will be a CS on the George H W Bush

Thanks Mom of Deanna!

My daughter is on the George H W Bush.  Where will your daughter be?  What does she do?

Congratulations JayDee659! That’s exciting news for sure. What a cute couple they are!
My daughter is graduating from A school this Friday and got her orders. One of the moms on here said she thinks she might be on the same ship as your daughter?

Anna, of course you should include your son's pic, what a great achievement!  BZ to him (and you for raising him)!

We had some excitement this weekend. Our oldest daughter got engaged.  My husband and I just love him, and we're very pleased.  I've been told that his parents want to throw an engagement party to which we're invited.  When I mentioned this to my sailor she said "oh I can make that".  His folks only live about 3 1/2 hours from where my sailor is stationed.

Here's the happy couple:
