OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. There are now tickets issued, and there are no longer parking passes for PIR.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

NavyCorpsmanSGMom - you mentioned your daughter was in division 904.  The 12/20/19 PIR group is up now.  Here's the link:

The Superm72, your girl will carry the flag in her PIR so will not come in with the other divisions. That’s why it’s important to ask her where to sit. She will know where she stands. Isn’t it great to be able to get your eyes on her in advance?

Thesuperm72, your daughter will carry the flag in all graduation ceremonies including her own PIR.

ShawnMom, my girl is in a 900 division. Saw her tonight for the 1st time holding her flag! Her PIR is 11/8. In her own PIR, does she perform flags? Or does she come in with her division like all the other divisions? I saw she drew you a pic of where she was sitting, so I'm confused about how this works. Love the stalking the bathroom! I laughed at that one! :)
