Blondie, I can imagine that you are/were worried. When someone has both vomitting and diahrea at the same time, s/he can become dehydrated quickly. I am so glad that she is back on base and is being cared for. If they are giving her IVs she should recover fairly quickly. I'll keep XXX in my prayers.

Pat, Actually I had a delightful lunch with a lade from one of my lymphoma lists. I had never met her face-to-face so it was fun. It was also informative since she knew about some possible new treatments should I relapse. Very useful information to have indeed. Besides the support that is one of the best things about the lists.

I do need to go down and work on a couple pillowcases. if I do a couple a day, they will add up!

Blondie, I missed what happened to XXX. Oh some on this list have had so many medical issues with their sailors.

NavyMom, that's really pretty. Isn't fall wonderful?

Dancing Sailor's Mom, my prayers are with your daughter. Everything comes together all at once. Just wait until you get the "I'm a Sailor" call. You will be so excited. I couldn't attend PIR but I love to imagine the emotions of watching those huge doors opening and seeing all those new Sailors ready to parade in. It has to be incredible!

Kathy, have fun shopping today. I am not a shopper so that would be punishment for me but you sound excited to do it.

Good morning to the rest of you! I saw your conversation last night but had no clue what you were talking about. Have fun today.

I just want to keep, Figgins, Abreau and Lackey who are all free agents after the series. You can have Matthews too.

I hate to say it but I hope Vladdy gets traded. He is so inconsistant and has no plate discipline. Drives me up the wall. I fully expected him to blow it in the 9th when we had 2 outs and runners in scoring position.

Kendry Morales went through hell getting out of cuba, defected in 2004,tried several times and also ended up in jail. Dropped from the Cuban national team because of his arrest.

So if they beat the Twins today we will be traveling to New york next for the first 2 games of the series.

The Yankees since they had the best record in the Major League. So that gives them home team advantage through the whole playoffs.
