Kristen,
I was curious - I saw where the other Navy Moms of Daughters group, by Pat, was back up. Does anyone know what is going on? Who sent you the invite?
I am really confused - I thought Pat wanted out - that is why I told her I'd keep the group on here so we all had a place to go to. Anyone have any info?

Wow, 14 pages since last night! It's hard to keep up.

NavyMom, I have tried to have a private chat using the N4M's chat. It got huge and I could not get out of it. It blocked out the close button. To close it, I have to get out of the browser, sign in to N4M again and go to the Chat tab. Then I can get to the place to kill it. Otherwise it blocks access to my inbox and other things. I avoid that chat room if at all possible.

Sammie, Enjoy the time with your daughter until she leaves. Then start righting those letters!

Pat, I do hope the doctors figure out what is going on with Jenn. I also hope they do it soon! The kaleidescope sounds like an ocular migraine. I get those but there is no pain. It is very annoying but harmless. Alas, Jenn has a more going on. As far as your being there ... tell Jenn you could be a second set of ears. Believe me that is really important. When I am going for an important oncology appointment, I always have my husband go along. We hear things differently. Also, the second person can keep notes. That, too, is very important.

Anna, the way to create a hot link is to type a word that you will link, e.g., Mom's for Daughters 2. Then highlight the whole thing by pressing the shift key down and moving the cursor back over it. While it is highlighted, click on the link in the editing strip above the input box. It is next to the camera. This will bring up a box in which you can put the URL (http://www.navyformoms.com/group/momsofdaughters2) for the new group. I find it easiest if before I start, I go to the location for the site. Then I copy the URL. This will allow me to paste it into the link box. ... Are you totally confused now??

Kristen, I also found it by going to Joanne's page. I figured she would find it! LOL

Yes, I got the web address but there is supposed to be a way to make it a link so that when I post it to someone else's page they can click on it and it will take them right to this site. I know I've seen other people post links but I'm not doing something right!!!

Joanne,
Do you mean the link? I'm trying to put a link in a blog that admin is going to put on the main page so all other members new and old can find us. I also wanted to send a link to a new member that contacted me, but I can't figure out how to do it.

Kristen,
I'm glad you found us. The other group was deleted before I got a chance to get all the recent members so I could send them messages. I am in the process of putting up a blog with a link to this group but so far I haven't been able to get a link to work. Can someone tell me how to do a link? Thank you

Pat,
I am so sorry both you and her are having to go through all this. Especially for you being so far away. I can only imagine how you are feeling. Wish there was something to do for you. You know your daughter better than any of us - do you think she would want you there and is just covering up, or is she really of the opinion that you would drive her crazy with questions? Besides what's a mom for if not to drive our kids nuts - God knows they did it to us for years!!!!!

Wow that was a lot of waits. Have to think of a better word.

Pat hang in there whatever it is you will have plenty of support from us girls. I know it is hard to wait. My daughter had to wait 10 days to wait for a test result that could have prevented her from going into the Navy. I was so hard to wait for that day to come. Just know that we are here. Some more silent than others but still here.

Pat,
Hang in there - I know it's nerve wracking for you. Praying at least for answers and a plan of action from the doctors. Then we can work on the healing!

Joanne,
