Just got the call . . . it was a Monday. Which is to say, he did not make the cut. Poor guy. He was disappointed, but has already come up with at least three alternate jobs he would enjoy. So, tonight will be a good night of rest and tomorrow he sees the . . umm .. well, whoever it is he sees to get reclassified! Hehehe
I'm a little sad for him because it was such a high, y'know, being part of the Special Ops "gang" and all. But there really was nothing he could have done differently, so he's not losing himself over it. He did his very best and he's proud of himself -- now we just get excited about the next chapter of this great adventure!
Thank you all so much for your support and encouragement. I love this website and I'm very grateful for the friends I make in all my groups!! I will bow out of this one, but I'll be lurking here and there, y'know. And please know that I'm wishing you and your families the most success!! I'm sure we'll run into each other around the site!
Hugs to all!
You guys are so completely awesome! Got a quick text message yesterday that they're giving him "one more chance" on Monday. So, maybe he came a little closer with all of us helping him stay afloat! ;D
His dad is there with him this weekend for a boys' weekend . . . I'm hoping that will help him to relax a little and get in the Zen place for Monday. Thanks again for keeping my baby high in your thoughts! I'll keep you posted . . .
