P3PilotMom - great P3 videos
I found this one too - can you imagine out fishing and this beast comes roaring by :)
Leslie - I am in Oregon - I know it's hard to keep up with all of us :) I ski up at Mt. Hood every Thursday!
You are correct, it will be Jabuti, monitoring those Pirates of the Mediterranean!

I plan to be in Jacksonville if I can get somewhat a date of deployment (it's like sticking a pin in jello) and I am also trying to coordinate visiting an old friend who lives in Knoxville - and she and I would meet somewhere like Atlanta/Savannah or something like that. But my primary visit will be JAX - I'll keep you posted!
Leslie - congrats to Brian - and what was the comment at the end of Top Gun when Mav decides to be a "Top Gun Instructor" - think it was "God help us all" - the brothers will be wreaking havoc at JAX :) They are going to have such a great time being in the same platform - very cool. Love Conor's assessment of the P3.
My guy's been doing a lot of flying now that he's in the squadron - lots of 7-10 hour flights - doing exercises with an aircraft carrier - getting some real time stuff under his belt! They are going to be deployed to Somalia, but I believe he will be home in time for the holidays!
In the process of planning a Florida trip (probably mid May now), so look out Florida moms, I want to meet you all! Can't wait for some warmth - even though the skiing is fantastic right now here, would love to have a tan!
Leslie, I'm happy your son got the platform he wanted. Congratulations! Enjoy the weekend with your boys.
Just catching up on the site, and will be keeping many of you in my thoughts.
If you are into quilts, check out this website of quilts for the naval aviation centenial: www.navyquilts.com/awinners
Beautiful. Some of them are also pictured in the March issue of American Quilter.
Leslie, can't wait to hear what Brian gets tomorrow! Janis's and my son are a couple weeks behind him. They are starting formation flying. Imagine, 10 feet apart! (and later I think they fly even closer!)
Here's another event that is being planned for the 100 years of Naval Aviation and it's in JAX - I just donated some money to the event - looks like it will be very cool!
Leslie - I just sent you a pm. It's VP 45 Pelicans
Congrats to Conor - great that he's staying close to home!
