Hi ladies,  I live in the Winter Haven area and would love to get together with you guys anytime.  My son graduated bc on May 18.  he is now in coranado. he is in medical because he has two stress fractures in both of his shins,  he wont know where he is going until after he is medically released.  It has been a tough and rocky road for him.  I would love to meet other mothers.

Hi Teeny I live in Babson Park (just south of Lake Wales). My son is in Charleston in the nuke program.

We are from the Miami area, My son left for boot camp on October 25, and will probably graduate on December 21, any one foying from this are to Chicago for the event?

I live in Venice, not far from Sarasota or Bradenton. My son leaves for BC December 6th. Anyone else have someone leaving around that time? Even though we live here, my son is actually leaving from Baltimore. My husband and I are going up there to spend the night before with him and see him at the airport. I am very new to this and it is so hard to watch my "baby" leave. Just that fact of not being able to see or talk to him for such a long period of time is going to be tough. I am so glad my son told me about this site. Everyone has been helpful and given so much information! Thank you all! Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving too.

Hi, I know what you are going through, It took my son Four weeks to write me a personal letter, I kept telling myself "no new, good news", He went through  a rough time but getting used to the routine, keep in mind, he is an only child and One that lost his fater at the age of 21. You will be fine, I promise you.
