Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

All....The notice for the Feb 21 Meet and Greet is now posted above. I hope that you all can stop by for a visit.

I am in need of some assistances. I have made up flyers to be posted in the various recruiting offices. I can get to several that are in my area, but are looking for some one who lives in the Folsom area and the Greenhaven area that would be willing to stop by and drop of the flyers. Also if you live in another outlaying area and are aware of a recruiting center and would be willing to stop in, please let me know. I appreciate all the assistances.

Hey Monica what did you put in the box ??? I'm always looking for new ideas to send Mike....

Monica....One thing I learned about sending packages out is if you use computer printed labels verses hand written labels the packages seem to move quicker.

I usually print a sheet of labels, cut a few off and carry them in my purse, so when I run into someone who asks how he is doing, I just hand them a label and tell them that he would love to get a card or letter from them and here's his address. It works and he always got tons of mail.

Also did you get a starter pack from the US Post office? The packs are free of charge and they will deliever them to your home.

Paymaster, left you a message on your page - add your Feb 21Meet & Greet asap. Don't forget about Feb 7 MG. The social butterflies w your sister SF Bay Area group are planning all sorts of stuff (wine country, Fleet Week, dancing lesson MG, fishing in Monterey) - feel free to come over and lurk and sign up for anything that strikes your fancy. We'll do the same.
Thanks Katherine, Quilt and I will have to readjust our thinking. Luckily we have some time to get our act together.
MIttengirl - coming on Sun?
Love Paymaster's suggested response - our savior (I mean sailor) unloads on us too. I think it makes him feel better.
I have been working on a business project - so have to run. Love to Chrissy. Aunt B.

Vicky....When I would get those calls from my son, I just used the company line of "if it was easy everyone would do it", "Well everyone can;t and that is why they picked you". I don't know if it made him feel better but it let him know he could do it. After that call I would usually send a care package of his favorite stuff.
