Oh Noami, it wasn't you, it was me. I broke up w/ my bf last week and was relieving stress with some man-bashing jokes. Better to laugh then to cry. Right? It is not easy being a unemployed single Mom. But I have to pick myself up and find a way to move on. I still have my youngest at home to take care of. I am truly grateful to all my friends on this site.( Even those who don't like my sense of humor.) Whether we are laughing or crying together, we are always here for each other. Navy Hugss ~ Vicky

There has been a troll denigrating our Navy. I just posted a blog. I would like everyone to add their thanks to their own son/daughter (no names please) for serving in the Navy.
Here is the link to the blog: We the People of the United States. Click on link.
I am monitoring the comments because I don't want that troll to sully it.

Let's all be on the same page. My previous comment sounded like some statistical report - it really didn't convey how clever I thought starting this new group was. I wanted to start the other group. Not much bothers me unless you walk on my line while I am putting - on those occasions, I swear a blue streak. Starting that group made perfect sense. It was the right thing to do. The Northern California Navy Moms group was started by Heloisa. I believe she was and would continue to be more comfortable with the group based primarily around Sacramento. It's OK. It's all good. Besides, you were here first. We are like twin sisters - one is quiet and serious - the other wacky and fun-loving. Not good or bad - just different. We each have our preferences. SOMETIMES, WE MAY EVEN CROSS OVER. We all should be comfortable enough to do that and respect how the predominate group wants things to be run. We have the best of both worlds. LIke going to a party and being able to sit at two banquet tables. I don't normally pray much but if I need it and my prayers are not being heard, I'll step over to the Nor Cal group and ask for prayer session. I am not a dummy. I know who may have a better pipeline. I know it wasn't easy for Paula to speak up.
On the calendar - we are going to have parallel calendars - both calendars will be posted on both sites. Hey I am still admin for the Nor Cal group - so until Heloisa decides what she wants to do - I am still in the running things.
We can members of both groups. I don't intend to drop out of this group whether Heloisa comes back or not. Everyone is welcome to join the new group and stay with this one too.
Here is the link to SF Bay Area Navy Families. Look for the "+ Join SF .... " and click and you can visit whenever the mood strikes your fancy. P.S. We are planning a wine country meet and greet.
See you all later.
