Yeah, I thought think that is real funny when they call the barracks a "Ship". All the barracks at GL are named after real ships or subs. My daughter was on the USS Triton in BC. Which is in the address, so I gave the address to my sister, my sis emails me back "She is on a submarine!" Lol, my lovely sis at looked up the USS Trition on the internet. Still funny! Lol ~ Vicky

Oh Paula, You are a sweet girl. We are just relieving some stress with a little fun and girl talk. This is how single Moms help each other out. We are all friends here. I respect your opinion, you don't have to participate in the Chit-chat. But this is a site for Moms so there will be some girl talk. I for one enjoy it.
Sometimes I can't even talk about what is going on w/ my sailor as it is personal info. that I am not allowed to reveal. How is your sailor doing?
Are going to go to any of the M&Gs? It would be nice to see you again. I hope to make the Sactown one in Feb.

Paula - That is how I felt during the holidays... My son is in Afghanistan and I felt most conversations were about recipes ...
Some times I need to just chit chat because if I don't I will just sit and cry with worry....These mom's and dad's have truly helped me.
I was up at 1 AM talking to my son who said oh yea mom we made the news just google us and you can read about the riot we had here... So pls I don't want to seem like I don't care but some times I need this Chit chat just to get through the day.... Also More then not we help each other and new moms with any questions that they might have... Please know it is not all fluff here... I don't want to get any one upset I just felt the same way and now I am seeing how it truly is on this site .... We are all on the same BOAT....

Thanks,

Marsha

Hi Mikes Mom, we got a call this morning from our son Brian. He seems upbeat, but was a little concerned about some of the others that are not getting it yet and causing problems for them all. It's been a month sense we had heard from him.
