OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Moms and TrekkieDad,
This is the busiest group that I belong to on this site. I am getting dizzy trying to keep up with you all. Lol. TrekkieDad, yes we had other problems besides the phone issue, it is over for good this time. I did call him when I missed him, I just wanted to hear his sexy voice on the phone but then he would get mad at me for bothering him. I have been divorced for 4 years, he was just separated when we started dating and his divorce was final in November. So he still had alot of emotional baggage from divorce, he is not ready to make any commitments to me and I just got tried of waiting. We are both in different places emotionally and it just didn't work. Time for me to move on. ~ Vicky

Hi All,
I was thinking of moving the Feb 6 M&G to Feb 7 to include more people who work on Saturdays. We would definately wrap up before kickoff time for the Superbowl. Please let me know what you all think - either day is good for me and brunch style will still be the theme. thanks

Quilt, can I put you down as organizer for Navy Fleet Week? Put me down for Navy Fleet Week at Marines Memorial. When is the best time to go to Monterey? Or is this a really stupid question that only a Silicon Valley girl would ask? I know hubby and I will want to play Bayonet GC.
