OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

Hi grannyofnine!! Hope all is well and your grandson is doing well.

Hi Chipmunk. I don't get on here much but it's good to hear from you. My grandson graduates Power school (hopefully, has to pass comps) on Aug. 24th. He has done very good. He will be home for 9 days after. Can't wait. Seems like the time has gone fast, at least for me. A year has passed already. I don't know what I would have done without your help. I realize now that a lot of Sailors go through the same thing in the beginning.

Hope you are doing well!

Grannyofnine - So glad to hear that your grandson is doing well!! His PS grad is the one year anniversary of my son's PIR. But with his class up delay and then A school time requirements, he doesn't graduate PS until the middle of Oct.

I will have to limit my time on N4M for awhile as well, so I just wanted to be sure to say hi!!

Havasu (thank you so much for the giveaway!)

Lizbeth. :)

Nursemom for the red win lol! Thank you for doing this!
