Everyone in my prayers, it is hard to let go. Whether it is to our Sailor's as they head back to where they need to be or telling a loved one bye. It is never easy, we had to do that over break too. My mom's sister passed away on 15 December, the same day my mom did only 18 years earlier. Pretty strange that sisters pass on the same day. Then my husband's grandma passed on that day as well only three years after my mom. God has a plan for all of us, who are we to question Him? Though we all know that we do each time we have to let someone go to be home with Him.

Diego and Kelsey are doing well thus far setting us their home. They had running around to do yesterday and will finish putting things away today. They will head to Charleston tonight for New Year's, that should be a lot of fun. We stay home, we aren't much on parties. Wishing you all peace, love, good health, for this upcoming New Year and may God bless us everyone, keep our troops safe and please end this war and bring our sons and daughters home!

Amanda- That sounds exactly like what Aaron has in mind... I'm just not so sure about getting married in high school :/ Waiting till June isnt that big of a deal for me. The Navy makes things so complicated!!

The countdown is beginning.  My son just woke up and headed off to the laundry room with his basket of laundry.  I'm preparing myself for tomorrow's good-bye.  At least this time I'll be able to go to the airport with him.

michimom~  he normally wears glasses so that's probably why your son had to think a minute :)  I hope his trip back goes well.  I'm sure it'll be hard on you today.  HUGS

javajo - Thanks for the pic of your handsome sailor.  Yes, my son recognized yours.  Took about a second.

Thanks to everyone for the congrats. And congrats to you too Nicole! :)

As far as dates, I know we'll get married in April after Power School leave. I'm hoping to have an actual wedding that date but it'll be hard (though not impossible) to plan it all in 4 months while i'm 3 hours from home in college and can't very well come back whenever I want (mountain passes and no car). If no wedding, then a courthouse in April then a wedding after Prototype (November at the earliest).

Jacob leaves at 3am tomorrow so we said our goodbyes tonight. Hopefully I'll be seeing him again for President's weekend in February. He is already excited to show me around Charleston for once since he has a car now. He told me he almost wanted to propose at the place they filmed The Notebook where Noah and Allie are in the rowboats towards the middle/end. But I absolutely LOVE that he instead decided to do it last week and got the whole thing in pictures.

Regarding the display of the discussion topics - I don't like the way NIng has this set up either. Since I am an admin in a number of other groups, I have tried to put certain topics on top (most useful or important) - it's difficult. You can put it back on top by posting a comment if the discussions are sorted by latest activity. Featuring does not change the order on the front page of the site - only after you click "View All"

But I will continue to hammer at the N4M admins. An admin for a group should have the ability to determine the sort of display of the discussions.
