While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Jeanne, That is exactly the same decision my sailor made. He had an excellent GPA going and decided not to put in another 10-15 hours a week to push it higher. Decided to relax and have some fun on weekends.

Comment by Kimber on March 16, 2010 at 6:40am: Good morning. I got a call yesterday my son Thomas ( ship 09/ Div 126) is now a Sailor. He graduates the 19th. He is a Nuke. My son graduated Ohio Northern in 07 as a Mechanical Engineer. He is looking forward to this programs.

Comment by Dana (David's Mom) on March 15, 2010 at 9:34pm: I was going to leave behind several item I purchased to make cooking easier when we visited the Villas in Feb. but our last dinner we hosted there were two married couples and they took home all the leftovers and other items. I wondered if we left them if they would be available for the next guest or not. Glad I was able to give them to someone who wanted them and could use them.

His first question, tho, was How did you get carving set on the plane? (I checked that bag.) Funny how many things we've all left behind--do you suppose ITT keeps it to replace other things that break> lol
