Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Cindy I was telling my son last night about menlindze how ever you spell his name he was new and training when my son was there so he doesn't know much about him Cindy i wouldn't send anything until your son ask for it and he will.
My son's class was the last class graduating in Dec2008 so there were no new classes coming in until Jan 4 and he never got to be senior class candio greeting group who took on the new class coming in.. he was ok with that

Walters was there when my son was to Vicki ..he was something alright lol I heard from the grapevine that DI Jackson (who was my sons DI) is going to VA to do OCS training for the marnies now.. he also would sneak up on the OCS classes..1 guy in my sons class had to make sand castles in his room in the floor... its kinda funny on the HI MOMS video and my son said the guy really didnt mind making it.. it was the clean up after.. he didnt like

unless they ask for you to send them something.. my son had me send him things he couldn't buy at the NEX because they never had it in stock or they ran out of it quick... stuff he needed for RLP and his group never got in trouble for it

Cindy Im so happy he called .. I know the feeling on that first call.. it took my son 3 trys to pass RLP yes he rolled in to a different class.. they have to score above a 80 to pass ..my sons first try was 76 and had to go to the Med center for a IV (he got dehydrated)..dont get scared it was summer time and it was hot there when he was going thru RLP.. he was fine after.. they do all work to gether and they buy all of there clothes small for the inspection its easier to iron.. I even had to send my son a bottle of sta flo starch which i never heard of before, clear nail polish goo be gone and a few other things he needed.. for his uniforms.. you know my son still never showed me how to iron lol and my son got the nickname BOBBLE HEAD.. some of the DI are Centers, Foshee, Anderson,Jackson, Salazar that had my sons classes ...

Cindy....Aww... I remember those day's :) Write down all your questions today for him and remember he doesn't have lots of time to talk cuz there are only so many phones in the hallways and everyone has to use them ..

Very true Carole and Vicki.. James knows he has to finsh at the top of the class to get a better job.... im still mad about not being able to get on my page grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr what do I do? anyone know, who to contact?

I never got to meet Jackson.. something happened and he was took out of my son class 1 weeks before graduation.. DI Salazar was at the graduation who dismissed my son's class.... im not puter smart ...how do i get in to your snapfish pictures?

my son went to U of M getting his bachelor degree in 3 yrs.. he has more plans after his navy career for more schooling.. we were in CO jan of 06 for alot of that big snow you had ...my husband and son got stuck at the airport for 24 hours lol your son will contact you when for sure he will be graduating so you can make your flight plans (usually when he has 4 weeks left) we flew in on wednesday and was flying back on friday.. our plane was cancelled due to a northeastern storm that hit all of new england area including RI .. anyway we rented 2 mini vans and drove home in a blizzard not getting home until 1030 saturday night..lol wow I got great storys for my grandkids someday lol i wouldn't have changed that week for anything, best part was i got to see my baby ... who came home a man
