I finally got a letter.  Erick says he is doing great. He said they were going to do the gas chamber the next day, but I don't know what day that was, because he started to write the letter on 3/20/12 but continued writing the same letter on the 27th and finished on April 1st.  He said he had WATCH and he hadn't had a chance to write because he has been very busy.  He wants me to make sure that I get the passes so we can get into the graduation.  He doesn't know that as soon as they were available I printed them!!  :)    I hope this week has been good for them.

They are also counting the weeks and days.

God Bless them and let them succeed in everything else they have to do this coming week!!!!

Friends, it's exciting than next Friday we will see our SAILORS!!!!

Blessings,

Gracie

Wow! Can you believe it... 6 more days and we'll all be in Great Lakes watching that door roll up and trying to find our own Sailor. It will be a good change to be able to call our sons/daughters a Sailor after all this time as a SR.

Prayers to everyone's kid that they all make it through with confidence, camaraderie, and a bit of sweat & tears.

See you all at Sarge's M&G on Thurs. or at PIR Friday morning!!

Rose

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to introduce myself - My name is Taylor, My husband Tim is in Ship 04 Div 120! After bootcamp he goes to A School in Charleston,SC for Nuke. I am so excited we are getting so close to graduation day. We have a two year old and he is asking about him all the time. Is anyone elses son or spouse a nuke?

-Taylor

Hi Taylor Congrats to our new sailors.... (they should be finishing up with BS right now) Keep you phone close we get our calls today. My son is in the 120 and going to San Antonio for HM after. Are you going to PIR?

Blessings, Kathy

I know I'm anxious for this phone call! :) and yes we will be there. Me my son and my mother in law are flying in from Boston on Thursday night - what time should we be there on Friday? I know the gates open about 7 but it doesn't start till 845-9

-Taylor
Hi Taylor,

The gates open up at 630. That's when they will begin to screen people. Id suggest getting there as early as you can so you can get good seats! If your husband is tall he will be in the back of the row! My boyfriend is one of the tallest ones there so I'm going to have to keep an. Eye out! :)

Claudia

So, here we are back home after a wonderful weekend with our sons/daughters/spouses/boy/girlfriends. We're all SAILOR MOM'S now. I pray that where ever each one of our sailors is attending A school that the Lord watches over them, keeps them safe, and guides their every move.

It was a pleasure to meet the moms and families that I did and I'm sorry I didn't meet more of you. Had we known, we could have set up a meeting place to congregate and meet, but hindsight, right?

Anyway, I hope we all keep in touch and share stories of our sailors adventures.

I already miss my Anthony so much... again!

<3 Rose

I want to thank all the veteran moms who helped us through this experience!!  I am so happy to have met my new Navy Friends and to have had many of you to talk to when depressed and with questions.  You all are wonderful and hope to continue to communicate with you and know how your Sailors are doing.

God Bless you and your families!!

Love,

Gracie
