Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 057 and 058.
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Thanks Kyles Mom....lol thats too funny! Anyway, my eldest son who went through boot camp 3 years ago, wrote his brother and told him " HOMESICK=LUCKY " Because he has met so many guys that didn't have a good homelife, for whatever reasons, he felt LUCKY that he was homesick. It meant he loved his family, had a good home with great memories which allowed him the ability to get homesick! So girls, I guess we did something right! Don't you feel better now?
My SR called me too! He says his division is having some trouble, and he sounded soooo sick! I feel dumb now because I was kind of tongue tied...I just wanted to say I love you, I miss you over and over and over again. :/
I got my first phone call from my son. It was sooo hard he started crying so hard as soon as he heard my voice. Just broke my heart. It's been a week now and I haven't gotten another letter or phone call. I am reading alot about the recruits on ship 11 div 057 are getting sick. I am a little worried now. My son has never really been sick. I hope that all this sickness doesn't interfear with graduation. I have already booked my flight, motel and car rental. I miss him so much. The house is so quiet now. Adjusting to living alone is really hard. I write him at least twicwe a week always assuring him that I am doing just fine. Anyother single moms out there adjusting?
Hi Ladies...
I have question. Is there a graduation ceremony from A School? I saw a photo of an A school graduation and was wondering if that was an actual graduation where parents could attend. Does anyone know how long A school typically is? I hope everyone is doing well...Happy Holidays!!!!!
