Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Chris, Kyle says your son is cool. Glad he has a friend. Kyle hasn't written much, but very touching letters.He says some Mothers are nice enought to write daily, not to mention who, puts me to shame, ha, ha. trying to get other to write too.

I finally joined today..better late than never, I guess! My son is in ship 14 div 092, I don't see alot of posts from that div. I got 2 letters today from my son and he is so excited! Makes me feel so much better. I can't wait to get to Ill. Anyone have any ideas of something special we can wear for div 092????

Also when it comes to using names. The RDC's do read the stuff posted on this site and if they don't like what was posted and they know or reconize your son or daughter...they could make it worse for them like more IT. And it could affect the whole DIV. Another recruit has already got in to trouble because of what his mom put on here. So please be careful.

I do have a question. I got a wierd email from UPS today that says I have a delivery coming from GREAT LAKES. Now I don't remember ordering anything. Could this be the pictures they had taken?
