Here are the links for the Meet and Greets available for this PIR date.
(Please RSVP to the Event you are attending...Sarge says he is getting 200+ people at the larger PIR's and wants to make sure he has enough food! Thank You!)
Sarge's at the Sundance Saloon:
Here is a rundown of all three M & G's.
6-8 pm at the Ramada.
Finger foods – Chips and salsa, veggies and dip, egg rolls, meatballs, maybe another and it could change. (This is what they had when I went. Sarge was not doing a Meet and Greet then)
Bar – or you can bring in your own soft drink or water. Those staying at the Ramada get a voucher for to free drinks.
Hostess provides a name tag and will come in and greet everyone and ask if anyone would like to speak.
5:30 - 9 pm at the Sundance Saloon.
FREE transportation from Springhill Suites, Marriot Courtyard, Holiday Inn Express, Residence Inn, Candlewood Suites and Crossland. All other local hotels for a modest fee.
Guest Speaker from the Base (when available) to provide info on where to eat, things to do, how to save $$.
FREE food starting….they also have a menu if you want to order something.
Sarge has lived in the area for over 30 years and knows it well.
Sarge has arranged with his friend Nick at Trattoria-Pomigliano in Libertyville for a FREE meal – ANYTHING they want – for your Sailor.
There is a DJ.
Plus, Sarge goes above and beyond the “call of duty” to help Sailors and their families. (He is the “go to” guy for Taxi (shuttle) service. Prices are great and again does more than he has too!)
5-9 PM at Flanagan’s.
Was the original Meet and Greet for Navy 4 Moms years ago, and hoping to continue the tradition for years to come.

The M & G's are on the night before PIR. ALL events are open to everyone...not just N4M's
i plan on going to sarges and the one at the ramada-cause im staying there, can my daughter join me even though she is only 16yrs old?
They are all Family Friendly from what we have been told. The only one they had when I went to PIR (Even though Flangans is the original M & G host) was the Ramada. I took my two teenage sons and it was just fine. It is a bar area but a smaller room amnd not full of "partying".
Three might be pushine it LOL Sarge does a lot of talking in the beginning of his so the M & G-ing is done after I believe. Ramada you are "on your own" oretty much though there is a "hostess" to direct you and get you a name tag. She also will come in after about an hour and hand a mic out for folks to introduce themselves...Guess who were the talkers! LOL We were all like, "Hi, I'm fireteamleaderwife...I'm So-and-So...."
