OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. There are now tickets issued, and there are no longer parking passes for PIR.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

I'm sure that will be OK.  Not sure if there is a Wal-Mart close to you but that's where I bought yellow fleece for my scarfs.  I could mail you some iron's if you think you would get it in time. I've mailed one to another mom.

Sheila , I haven't been online much, and I'm still stuck @ work, but wanted to thank you so much for the anchor! You are so wonderful and I can't wait to meet you!

You are very welcome.  I hope it works for you.  I use that material with my heat press. But called and got instructions for a home iron. Let me know how it works.  And I'm looking forward to meeting you also.

Ok, since I don't have anywhere to get the iron on's.... I am making buttons! Going to make 2. One will have the anchor and 11/83 and 3/9/12 and the other one I am going to put my boys picture on it! Going to attempt these Friday! I will try to post a picture if they turn out!. If I can figure out HOW to post one anyway! I also found WHITE scarves and going to dye them yellow!

Keep your fingers crossed!

I will look forward to seeing your buttons. Go Leslie!!
