OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. There are now tickets issued, and there are no longer parking passes for PIR.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

This will be a great place to share the news for our SRs in Division 86.  As we get letters or phone calls you can share the news with other moms/wives/gfs.  Be careful what you post though....we don't want to cause any extra issues for our SRs...I am sure they will be causing enough on their own as they figure things out.

I am looking for Blondi.  I can give her a ride from to O'Hare if she would like to wait 45 minutes for my flight to arrive.  She is also having problems finding a reasonable room.  I am staying at Crossland Economy Suites for $45 a night.  They have a kitchen which I thought would help being we have to be up so early on Friday and won't have time to stop for breakfast.  Muffins and coffee is what I am doing.  They also offer a free ride to the PIR and it is one of the places Sarge gives shuttle service to the Meet and Greet.

Thank you! Sent you a private message. Will check that hotel asap.

We have Sailors!!  How exciting!  They earned all their flags.   Everyone passed!

I was so excited when the call came. So good to hear his voice.  See you all at PIR:)

He's a Sailor!!! Proud Girlfriend of a United States exciting! Talking to him today was just amazing! I have missed him more than words can explain and I am so very excited to see him on Friday! We made it everyone!!! =]
