I believe 91 and 92 train together.

Proud Mom, what division is your son in?  My son also said his division (091) was stuck on P days for almost 2 weeks due to filling up.  I don't understand how all that works if there are several divisions waiting to fill up.

They always seem to get it together in time. I have never heard of a whole division getting help back. Although they can be threatened to be held back. After they get past that half way point you will even be able to tell a difference in them. If one or two recruits are still goofing off and holding others back and not obeying the rules they will likely get set back themselves but not the whole division. The RDC's truly care about their division and want to see them succeed. They will even help those who are struggling with running or anything else. They are the one training them and if someone doesn't pass it looks bad on them. So they do everything in their power to get them where they need to be. Battle stations is a test that allows them to show everything they have learned these 8 weeks and they are well prepared. It is in my Sailors words "Very Awesome" and most of them say they wish they could do it again. So don't worry they will get it together as a group and they will become Sailors and make you all very proud.

Just curious, but does anyone know what happens if a division cannot get it together and fails battlestations?  Will their graduation be delayed?

Ladies, zStratMom is one of our newest N4Moms veterans!  So glad that she has joined us to share her wisdom and experience.  We always love to have the recent grads join us because their info is new and fresh!

Thanks so much, zStratMom!

In most cases if your SR misses a call because of having wisdom teeth removed they normally will get to make up that call, hopefully within a couple days after the missed call. I have also heard of a few recruits who gave one of their earned calls to  another recruit who has a wife and small kids or one gave his call to a recruit who about to become a Dad. It just warms your heart to know that some of them can be so generous. And, it make you feel good to know that people like that will be defending our country :-)

Got a call from mine as well this evening!  03/090.  He's doing great, laughing and chattering on and on. Ladies, if you haven't got a call yet, don't despair, mine came about 3 days after many of the others in his division were getting to make calls.  They simply had other things they had to do!  All is well.

Comment by zStratMom on February 13, 2012 at 10:15pm

Hey, there Pumpkin! I'm sorry you didn't get your call. We want to be excited for those who are getting to hear their SR's voices, but there is that eensy little voice that cries, "when is MY call??"

If YOU are reading this and didn't get a call, there could be several reasons: your SR is standing watch, your SR has had wisdom teeth pulled(!), your SR's division didn't pull together and lost phone time, or even the RDCs hadn't booked the phone banks . . . Trust in the process, everything is working through a highly regimented plan, even when we don't have the evidence for ourselves. Hugs to all!

Phone calls are great, and hopefully more to come tomorrow :-)
