I am trying to figure out how to set my settings, I am getting 2 of everyone's post on the "PIR group 03/30/2012.....which causes my box to fill up pretty fast in a day.
One mailing says: "so & so posted on PIR group 03/30...." ....the other is telling me: "so & so posted on your commit on PIR group 03/30...".
can anyone help with this! I was getting even more double email from Boot camps for moms so I deleted that group
Good Morning everyone, I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday, more prayers for your pup FTLW. I hope the little darling finds her way home :-)
Jacque does she only get mail on Tues & Thurs? I thought they got mail 6 days a week. At least they did when my daughter was there. That makes me sad they only get it twice a week.
Congrats, LilBigMansMom! I know his voice never sounded sweeter, right?
Keeping the faith, FTLW, that your little pup will find her way home soon...
I agree, alismz. When our hearts are "right with God," communion in any church is such a wonderful thing. It was just very hard for my then-20 yr old son to understand this. He and his friend attended a Christian school together (on baseball team there together)...and he had been raised in a church his whole life. He was most concerned that he upset his friend's mom...because he never would have done anything to upset her. How sad that it was all over communion, an act of faith that is so comforting...
Thank you ladies for explaining to me about the wisdom teeth but shortly after I posted the comment I received a call from my SR, I was so darn happy to finally hear his voice, he sounded really good.
I have some catch up reading to do!
Folks,
Thank you all so much…your kind supportive words mean a lot!
I am sorry for the “just a dog” comment…did not mean it in a frivolous way. Ours are definitely family. We have Border Collies…and have competed with our old boys (almost 12 and 13) in Sheepherding trials. A ranch in a farm loving rural State is the retirement goal. One thing at least…I got you to share some wonderful stories about your beloved furry Family Members!
Still no little dog. She does have a collar on with a tag…but she does not go to strangers well. Like I said “she has issues”…we have spent $$$ and much time but there are some things that no amount of sheep have fixed. Basically…she gets “lost” when she steps one foot off of our property. (sigh)
Thank you all again.
oh the life lessons we all go through :-) And when we are the "one" who learned the lesson there is usually others who learn from our mistake so we can just think of it as helping out our friends or neighbors :-)
Too funny, zStratMom!
alismz: Have to tell you...the other Catholic experience we had was when my non-sailor son attended the 1 yr anniversary service of the date of death (ever heard of one of those?) of a friend of his...car crash victim...very sad...only 19. Again, they called people up to take communion. My son got in line to take it. Well, the mom of the boy came running after him and told him he cannot take that---she knew he wasn't Catholic, but knew he was a Christian. He was very embarrassed by this, sorry he offended her and It really hurt his feelings...he didn't understand. This mom is the nicest lady in the world...so that made it hurt him even more. Well, live and learn!
