OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 181 and 182.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I sent you a private message. I will also be at Sarge's on Thurs. Can't wait to meet all of you!

My son is in Division 182, ship 13.  Would love to know the date of Battlestations.  Can you send me a private message?

HI FWB Navy Mom:  My son is in Ship 13 Division 182 also.  Do you know where he is going to A school?

Hi Lukes Mom!  My son is going to A School in Great Lakes for DC.  Have you gotten the call yet regarding the completion of battestations?

Nope - I am waiting...would like to say patiently but that's just not true.  Are you going to Sarge's Meet and Greet Thursday night?

Don't know a thing about it but will definetly look into it.  My flight lands in at Midway on Thursday 5/9 at 6:40pm so I'm not sure if I will be able to make it?  Where are you flying in from?

We are driving from Texas. arriving early Thursday staying in Lincolnshire - My son will be going to school in Groton not sure how much time we will have but I will be happy with anything I can get.

I'm flying in from California and staying in Gurnee.  What time is the Meet & Greet at Sarges?  Would love to go if possible.

5:30 to 9:00 - If you can that would be great - would love to meet you!

Where do I get the information on Sarges Place? Location etc

On the main comment wall of this group there is a column to the right showing events. The link to Sarges M&G is there, click on it and it will take you to an event page  for that date. On the right side toward the top is a box to RSVP.

Thanks - I found it RSVP'd and printed out information.
