Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 225 and 226

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Kitten says Hello

Hi! My son is in 226 left for BC April 17th. Still waiting to hear from him. This site has made this process so much easier. Thanks! :)

My son (SR) is in div 225, he left April, 17 from SHREVEPORT, LA!!! My family will be driving to PIR...we can hardly wait. I am going to give him the BIGGEST HUG EVER!!! :-) I had thoughts about it from the time he told me he had decided to enlist but never thought it would be like this!!! I really miss him and I still have moments where I just want to cry...I'm SO thankful for this site and all the knowledgeable veteran members for all the support and guidance. I've only received the BOX and the Form Letter, no call or personal letter from him PATIENTLY WAITING

Hi all!

My SR is Div226.  Sounds like we are all in the same boat only received box and form letter so far.  No news is good news, so I hear.  I have sent several letters so he knows we are thinking of him.  We will be flying from PA so just waiting until it gets a little closer before we book tickets.

Hi ya'll,

I am not a navy mom but rather a navy girlfriend. He is DIV 226. I received a letter yesterday and thought I would share so ya'll know mail is getting sent and hopefully receive letters soon! I appreciate all of your post and although I may not say much, I am reading and getting useful information from each of you! Have a good friday! One day closer to PIR!

Braxnavybaby.. I'm so excited for you.. still waiting waiting waiting. Haha.. won't tell my sons Girlfriend, she is going crazy waiting for a letter. :)

Hi all,

My son is in group 225.  I did get a phone call from him this week. He needed to get some additional information for his IS security clearance so he called on official business.  It was so wonderful hearing from him and he sounded really good!  As of Wednesday they had not been able to mail their letters yet but they are getting our letters!  Hang in there everyone!

brax I am glad you received a letter!  We are all one more Friday closer now.  Hopefully the mail courier will be kind today.

WOO HOO finally received a call from my SR!!!  He sounds really good.  Said his Div is really getting a long well, more like a family.  I hope other family members hear from their SR this weekend also.

I just got a call from my SR, he started out well but was in tears before we hung up the phone!!!! He said he's doing well and that he misses me as much as I miss him!!!! He said he had received my letters and would not be able to send his out until tomorrow...IT WAS SO GOOD TO HEAR HIS VOICE, even if for just a few minutes.

What a great day!! An early Mothers Day Gift!

My SR called too! He is really homesick. He said that they are all getting along very well. Said he has six letters ready to mail tomorrow. :)
