Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 239 and 240

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Ship 13 Div 209 Marvin Shields It's been over three weeks soon I spoke to my Sr any one else's it's in the same situation

I got a call from my boyfriend today! Unexpected, but more than welcome!

sol, my SR has been in for about 3 weeks now and when I talked to him on the phone today he said he probably wouldn't be able to call again until after battle stations, which should be in around 5 weeks from now. From what I've seen most people get a call the Thursday before PIR week, but some don't get the "I'm a sailor" call at all.  Have you tried talking to anyone else with the same PIR?

It's not many people who'll post anything. I don't know how many family's are in this division so far it's like four, the last time my son wrote was Mother's Day.
We are from Texas. We have to make plans for our family to go to Great Lakes. I just don't feel comfortable not knowing what's going so we need to know if my Sailor will be be on schedule so we have to leave Tuesday? Maybe?

Kitten says Hello

Missing my son like crazy :(

I've been missing my boyfriend a lot lately, too. :(

It's hard not to be able to just pick up the phone and call them whenever you want.

i have been missing my boyfriend alot too. i have alot of weird dreams and i just cant wait to see him

Whenever I dream, I dream about him. PIR seems so close, yet so far away.... I miss him so much...

PIR is a month away it sounds so far away.

On Thursday before PIR, there is a Meet and Greet that Sarge puts on at the Sundance Saloon. If you plan to attend, Please RSVP to Sarge. We are making name badges so if you don't RSVP and you show up, we won't have a badge for you. Please include the names of those you are bringing as well so we can make badges for them as well.

Also, there will be a raffle where NAVY cups, shirts and other items will be given away with the main prize being 25% of the raffle money. 50% will be donated to Sarge for future meet and greets and 25% will be donated to Calls for Recruits. Also, there is a discussion group above for those who want to donate State Baskets to the silent auction.

Sarge puts his own money into these weekly meet and greets and to ensure future mom's being able to have this same awesome opportunity, please donate a State basket or participate in the raffle. Every dollar counts!

Hi,

My boy is graduating on Friday and we are scheduled to land at Midway at 6:05pm but I'm thinking we'll get to Great Lakes by 8pm. Is that too late? What time does the meet & greet begin?
