We are up to Division 210 in this TG...so Regular Divisions 205 -210 so far and SPECOP 815, Performing DIvision 934...Eight Divisions so far...Hopefuly RTC Website will have the Details of this group up tomorrow!
It means they have to be pushed to get everything done in time. Since she could sing and play the flute she volunteered for the preforming division. They put her in the 936 that had already been formed and she had PIR a week sooner than we expected based on date that she left. It usually means that some of the recruits in that division were the last ones to join and they have less time to finish and pass everything. It works out great for recruits who can already pass the physical requirements before they go to bootcamp.
On a totally different subject. My hubby was driving down the road and saw money blowing by. He stopped and picked up a $20, then a $100, the a $50, other people stopped to help lol and were handing him bills as well. They thought he lost it haha. He ended up finding almost $600 bucks. He called the police and they were already talking to the woman who lost it. So he met them and gave it to her. She was very happy, he got a hug from her lol. No finders fee lol. But he was interviewed and will be in the paper. Don't ya just love small towns ? :-)
What is a push division?
Mine took 14 days from when she arrived at bootcamp. I actually ended up with a real letter because she was in a push division before I got the form letter. I have my fingers crossed for you as well.
It should be going to his moms apartment which I check everyday and still no letter. Maybe tomorrow i will get it! Fingers crossed!
Cara: I have a feeling that the form letter will arrive in the next few days. Is there anyone else your SR could have mailed it to? They can only mail one out.
katyellen: I can relate to you being alone. I'm a widow and my older son moved out 2 weeks before my sailor left for bootcamp. Then it was just me and the dogs (thank goodness for the dogs!). It wasn't easy...I sure looked forward to the phones calls when my sailor was up there too. Hang in there...A School is so much better because you are back in touch with them. It will be here before you know it!
thanks Valerie, i feel better...just so hard.
hello everyone!
my husband has been in boot camp for a month now and graduates on 7/6 due to being held back for 2 weeks so i know exactly what you all are going through. we should all be receiving letters this week between Wed-Sat depending on where you live. the SR's are allowed to send out mail every Sunday and this Sunday should have been the first Sunday For my husbands new division. In the letters i'm sure they will explain to you exactly whats going on there and trust me they are doing fine! i had to learn the hard way that no news is good news. so just try to remain calm and keep being strong .46 more days!
I will give it until tomorrow to contact his recruiter. If it doesn't come tomorrow then I will give him a call. Yeah it has me a little worried that I haven't gotten it yet...
