OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

pjhhearn, Sorry to hear about the colorblindness and that they didn't catch it earlier. I was wondering how they reclassify them myself because my SR also went in as a Nuke and it sounds like only about half really make it through the program. From what few things I've read, it seems like they try to put them in another position that correlates with their test scores, etc. But I really don't know...and wish I did. I hope your son finds something else he can really enjoy and works into a great career. Let me know what you find out!

I'm sorry to hear that. I wonder if his phone card is working. I got a second call last night. It was much longer. My son said they did a great job marching and this was a reward. I am sending another card today. He also said they go by last names. His last name is Corson his job is division leader. He said he has been very sick, it's going around. Their division received a flag. Out of 15 divisions only 4 has received flags so far. He also said they have a fun, goofy bunch that like to sing in the shower. It sounds like they're all doning fine :-).

I just hope he is ok , getting worried . My other friend told me her son had some teeth pulled and was sick . So my SR might be sick too. I just hope all is well soon . I am glad for your calls . It's nice to know they are having some fun too. TTYL Heike =)
