It is great to see you guys working so hard to help each other figure this all out. It took me forever to try and figure this stuff out, and then I still had to wait a questionnaire from my recruit to tell me what week and day she was on lol.

Pambrose~ so if my SR is in 2-1. Yours should be in 3-1, I'm thinking, because yours has been there for 3 Sundays, correct?

Comment by happyfeet(ship 09/Div 288) on July 30, 2012 at 11:00pm

***ALSO*** she arrived 17July.

Comment by happyfeet(ship 09/Div 288) on July 30, 2012 at 10:59pm

I am thinking that today is 2-1. Looking at the breakdown of BC they gave us, after the 2nd Sunday is 2-1. This makes sense because they have 6 weeks of training, and the week following training weeks is there last week, and that's for Battlestations and PIR. From today to 7Sept is just under 6 weeks.

This is for pir 9/7, but my SRs in ship 09/div 288.

DianneP: Thanks for the info. He's going to Pensacola for A School. Is there a limit on what they can take? Or is it anything they can fit into their backpack/napsack? I'm sure he'd like his I-Pad, computer, phone, and Oakley glasses (can't wait to see the BCGs!). And he's really picky about socks and boxer briefs so I know he'll want those. Everything else he can buy in Pensacola.

My daughter lost 60 pounds and it took almost 9 months for her to get in.  She is very muscular so her weight was always over the limit, but she measured body fat at 29%, so she is well within the limits.  Her weight was 1 lb over, but the bmi was good, so I am sure she is losing the 1lb...  just got her 2nd letter and she passed her 1st physical fitness test with her being the fastest female.  She really  worked hard and is still working hard!
